And, as we continue to be reminded, racial inequity endures in many facets of our society, including an income, wealth and opportunity chasm that we are taking upon ourselves to help bridge.

Our vehicle to promote change is the Onyx Impact Fund.

Capitalizing on the shift to a knowledge economy, the Onyx Impact Fund will invest in commercial real estate assets where knowledge workers live, work, and play. More importantly, the impact happens with who we allocate funds to.

Onyx Impact Fund allocates to minority-led real estate sponsors and joint-venture partners. 

Historically, the commercial real estate industry has lacked diversity and still does today. 76.2% of jobs within the industry are held by white men and women. Casoro Group encourages diversity by allocating Onyx funds to sponsors and joint-venture partners with at least 50% minority leadership.

Onyx Impact Fund pledges to Casoro Group Education Foundation to attract and educate more students to commercial real estate. 

To support the development of diverse commercial real estate professionals, Onyx Impact Fund pledges returns to Casoro Group Education Foundation. This foundation is a charitable organization that helps students in under-served and under-represented communities have access to opportunities that close the generational wealth gap regardless of race and economic background. Through their E4 Approach, Casoro Group Education Foundation has the ability to create more knowledge workers in the industry by influencing and connecting students through each phase.
